HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Wait… Is this a serious question? Oh it is!
Sorry, I’ll just get on with it then.
Travel can definitely seem pretty daunting, especially when you are faced with going to a completely new place alone. Humans are creatures of routine and habit, breaking those habits can mean breaking out of our carefully constructed comfort zones, and into the unknown. This can be a challenge.
Just as any new endeavor demands effort – exercise, eating right, yoga, starting a new hobby – traveling demands an equal amount of effort, attention, and patience.
Why it’s worth it
Traveling is one of the few things that you can purchase that will genuinely make you richer.
The excitement I get hopping off the airplane and into a new country, new place, new culture is comparable to riding a roller coaster, minus the nausea of course. The fear, the suspense, the turbulence, the view. These are all things that, while at first are unpleasant, can fill your veins with adrenaline and your heart and soul with adventure.
Seriously though, there is absolutely something wonderful about being a in place where no one knows your name, but you know exactly what is it that you want to see and do.
Being able to see the wonders of the world first hand, is something that no one can take away from you.
So put yourself out there people! Get lost, lose you luggage, make mistakes, spend too much on a taxi cab. These little mishaps are what lead to adventures.
When everything goes right it’s a vacation, when things go wrong it’s an adventure, so either way, you’re in for a treat.
Prepare for the worst, but expect the best and nothing will get too out of hand I promise.
